Covid-19 Statement

Helping Hands Doula continues to focus on the health and safety of the community we serve. Our Covid-19 policy meets the strictest guidelines for prevention of the transmission of respiratory viruses. Every team member as well as clients receiving in-person support, completes a thorough self-assessment recommended by the Ontario government. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is put into place for all face-to-face interaction, with physical distancing in mind whenever possible. All team members have completed additional training in Public Health Infection Control (IPAC) & Hand Hygiene.

Helping Hands Doula agrees with the suggestion of both Health Canada & the National Advisory Committee on Immunization, that everyone eligible receives the covid-19 vaccine at the discretion of their health care provider. Respecting privacy laws, we will not be requesting anyone to disclose personal health history information regarding vaccines.
